Thanksgiving has come and gone, so it's about time I posted a little finale from our Thankful chalkboard series! It was certainly interesting each day (well almost every day) to hear their answers, and I definitely think this will be a new annual tradition. There were amusing ones, like gravity and car keys, the latter of which prompted a quick search to make sure mine were accounted for. And there are serious ones, like God and family, and it makes me SO happy to know these are important to my kiddos as well as my husband and me. (We must be doing something right? Ha!)
It was a really fun activity which the kids totally "got." They're finally to
the ages where they're both aware of what holidays mean, and it
just makes them even more enjoyable for Mom and Dad . I'm really looking forward to starting new traditions with our family, as well as celebrating our time-honored ones.
